Would You Wear a Summer Dress

With everyone talking about the summer holiday, what to wear has also been considered for fashionistas. As one of an essential for the beach activities, a great summer dress not only makes you feel comfortable, but it also can be a hot topic in the party dress circuit this holiday season. Short length, flattering cutting, and bright colors are key elements of the look. If you need a little more dramatic style in your own life, here are some ultra-chic summer dresses to try. Just read on!

Beautiful Bright Summer Dress

Who doesn’t look good in this color in the summer? It’s refreshing, like a cute candy or balloon, while the sash adds an interesting touch to the look. You may pair this dress with flat sandals in the day, strappy high-heeled or wedges at night. This is a perfect dress to play with jewelry. Pop on a statement necklace or earrings.

One Shoulder White Dress

This white wrap dress is made of satin and the one shoulder strap is made of chiffon. It is incredibly versatile. You can wear it to work, to lunch with the girls, over your swimsuit to the pool, and onto Sunday brunch.

High Low Summer Dress

This high low dress evokes sweet and fashion. The beads and handmade jewels adorn the bustine, making it shined. It’s perfect for a hot summer day. Pair it with flip flops, wedges, or pop in a bright color flat sandal. You can’t go wrong!

Pleated Summer Dress

I love a pleated dress in the summer. It features one shoulder neckline, raised waist and a-line tea-length skirt. I actually wouldn't over-do the jewelry, maybe in the day with flat sandals, or into the evening with a strappy heel.

Body-con Summer Dress

This bandage dress is modern form-fitting, it's not too busy. I would suggest leaving your neck bare and only wearing earrings. It’s meant for the super curvy, and also will just look sleeker on an athletic shape.

Celebrity Fashion: Cannes 2013 Opening Ceremony

The 66th Cannes Film Festival officially began today. Although it's just day one, we've seen numbers of beautiful celebrities in their beautiful red carpet dresses. After all, it is where the stars come to rock-out for a fully fledged frockathon that not just for day one, but through May 26th. And below are some of my favorite red carpet looks, just have a look!

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman is fabulous in a Dior couture dress. Between the floral embroidery and strapless construction, the Film Festival juror in this dress looks all but flawless.

Cara Delevingne

Brit-It Girl and model Cara Delevingne unsurprisingly chose Burberry for the night's festivities. Her black silk and lace plunging neckline gown was styled with Chopard jewels.

Cindy Crawford

Me-oh-my if I look half as good as Cindy Crawford does at 47, I'll be a very lucky woman. The supermodel showed off her assets in a white Roberto Cavalli gown.

Fan Bingbing

Fan Bingbing made her mark on the red carpet in custom Louis Vuitton. The strapless gown boasted a mega-train that would make any princess bride jealous.

Lana del Rey

Lana del Rey looks like she felt the Gatsby spirit in a black and white gown and Veronica Lake waves. The 26-old star was tapped to sing at the opening ceremony.

DressilyMe Real Customer Review: LazyDayz's Tulle Wedding Dress

Many thanks to LazyDayz for taking the time to share her shopping experience with DressilyMe on Weddingbee! The tulle wedding dress she ordered is so fantastic that I can't help myself loving it. Intrigued? Just read on to check the bride's comment and pictures of her wearing effect.

LazyDayz's Review for Her Dress

This is my experience with DressilyMe.

I placed the order on April 9th and I received it May 7th.

I live in Canada and had to pay an extra $38.00 in Customs and Taxes to FedEx to get the dress delivered (But that was not DressilyMe's fault)

It was well packaged in a thick cardboard box and 2 bags.It did have a slight fishy smell and was a little wrinkled but I hung it up in our spare room and left the window open overnight and the smell was totally gone the next day.

The dress is double lined and the seams are all straight. The only negative about my dress was the belt. I thought it would be crystals but it is actually sequins. But it looks surprisingly good.

I really love the dress and I am extremely pleased with it. I would absolutely recommend ordering a dress from DressilyMe.

Here are the pics!! (Excuse my mess!! I was so excited to try it on I didn't clean up before taking the pics :)

The Tulle Wedding Dress

This tulle wedding dress (STYLE NO.WWD00848) is one of a hot sell on our site. features a sweetheart neckline and a tulle skirt. The asymmetrical ruched bust follows a sequin lace band on the waist.

Then, they simply dress them up with other items and accessories. The benefit with this particular tip is that you can get your own staple pieces for a affordable cost and simply rock the trend.

Wear Nice Accessories

If you have a couple of accessories that you paid a pretty penny for, you can easily walk out in a tank, some jewelry around your neck and still look paparazzi. The great thing about these accessories is that they can be used over and over again.

Fairy Tale Bridal Fashion: Ball Gown Wedding Dresses

Is there anything more classic and formal than wearing a pretty ball gown wedding dress on your big day? Featuring a fitted bodice attached or non-attached to a full skirt that can be of full length or tea length, this fairy tale style is a nod to the popular trend. So for today's post, we'll be showing you some strut-worthy ball gown wedding dresses. Looking to get inspired? Keep reading!

Tulle Ball Gown Wedding Dress

There are many fabrics to be used with this style, not to mention the lace work on the bodice but also the tulle layers that can adorn the full structure of the skirt. Take this ball gown wedding dress for example, it is made of tulle, featuring one shoulder neckline and fitted bodice. The shoulder strap and side waist are decorated with handmade flowers.

This tulle wedding gown has a strapless sweetheart bodice which is decorated with delicately beading and lace appliques, while the waistband is accented with a bow. The full A-line ball skirt has been caught up.

Satin Ball Gown Wedding Dress

If you’re a little nervous about rocking puffy tulles, you could always try to find a dress made by other fabrics like satin or taffeta. These fabrics may create a look in a more modest way, since they have glossier surface and softer feature than the fluffy organza and tulles.

Pick-up Ball Gown Wedding Dress

More than the fabric, the structure of ball gown bridal dress pairs very well with the choice of a pick-up style skirt. This satin gown features strapless sweetheart neckline, fiited bodice and pick-up skirt. The embroidery decorates the bodice and the skirt.

Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Layers

Beadings accentuate the bodice, this bridal gown features a pleated taffeta skirt with tiered layers of taffeta and floral details on the side of the skirt.

Customer's Review on the Dress

I have to say I went back in forth with them daily on making sure the dress was going to fit and to make sure that it was going to arrive on time for my daughters 1st Jr. Prom. Dressily Me's customer service is AMAZING!! The emails were within minutes, (not hours or days but minutes) After being a nervous wreck for 18 days THE DRESS arrived ON TIME. The dress was BEAUTIFUL and my Daughter looked Beautiful in it. She LOVED it!

Overall our expierence with this company was Amazing and I told so many Moms about this site. I wont go thru this with my next daughter. The only down fall is not being able to try the gowns on (thats when you go to the stores and find a style that looks good on and go from there). I highly suggest having this dress tailored made for the few extra dollars to be safe. Overall I spent under $200 for her dress, special tailoring and shipping, shoes and accessories for a few hours it was well worth it on a Very Tight Budget. Dressily Me is our new Formal Place to shop.. We will be back and I hope that there will be other people out there to try it too. Thanks Dressily Me!
