Seasonal Bridal Style: Affordable Summer Wedding Dresses

Summer is probably one of the most favorite season to get married in - the beautiful bloom of the flowers, the longer days as well as fresh and happy vibe, everything is suggestive to make you wish the big day could last all lifelong. When it comes to summer wedding dresses, the options are endless, here at DressilyMe.com, we truly believe every bride would hope to buy a whole room full of them. But let us come back to the reality! For those of us who do not have the luxury budget, here is a list of affordable summer wedding dresses and ideas on how to choose them!

Chiffon Summer Wedding Dresses

Chiffon is a fabric that is made from silk and cotton which is very light in weight and pretty smooth. As it is inextricably associated with warm weather, chiffon has become a summer favorite material year after year and designers can always find it new ways to reinvent wedding dresses. These chiffon summer wedding dresses are perfectly to make you feel comfortable throughout the duration of a summer wedding celebration.

Ruffled Summer Wedding Dresses

I personally love ruffled summer wedding dresses. If you are obsessed with romantic styles as I am, you will love how the ruffles over the summer wedding dress contrasts with the bold, structured cutting of the dress. Never underestimate the power of those little basics, they will help you show off all of your best image and assets.

Short Summer Wedding Dresses

Summer weddings are ripe for an outdoor setting such as a beach, a garden, or a beautiful yard. An adorable short summer wedding dress can be a great choice for the long days with an afternoon wedding, or highlight the glorious sunsets by saying your vows as the sun goes down behind you.

Tips for Choosing Summer Wedding Dresses

  • Choose your wedding dress in any light-weight fabric, such as, organdy, linen, chiffon, crepe or georgette.
  • Be the only girl rocking a white dress. It is your day, so never let your bridesmaid steal your spotlight.
  • Do not be afraid to add color! Bright colors and romantic floral are perfect for summer weddings.
  • Look overall appropriate! Although summer weddings can be more casual, you will want to wear something that is a touch respectful for the affair.

  1. Those are some very elegant wedding dresses but at the same time sexy! I'm a aspiring designer and I always get told that I have a great eye for fashion. I must say that all of those dresses look great, but too me for a summer wedding especially if its going to be outside you should go for the short wedding dress. The Chiffon dresses also look fabulous though, thank you for sharing!
